Maybe you've been noticing…
-
You’re mentally and emotionally exhausted from carrying so much, constantly replaying what’s happened, worrying about what could happen, and trying to think your way into feeling okay.
-
You’re always noticing what you could have done better, said differently, or changed about yourself.
-
You’re feeling disconnected from the people closest to you, caught in patterns or conflicts that keep repeating, or navigating the hurt of a relationship changing or ending.
-
You’re trying to figure out what feels right for you when expectations, guilt, and obligation have shaped so many of your choices.
-
You’re trying to find your own direction while navigating others’ expectations, comparison, and years of putting everyone else first—making it hard to know what you actually want for yourself.
Therapy isn't about having the right words. It's about having a supportive place to start.
A place to be seen, gently untangle what’s been difficult, and move toward growth.

MEET YOUR THERAPIST
Owner — Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) #21010, Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology
I work with adults, teens, and couples who are looking to make sense of what’s been feeling difficult, understand themselves and their relationships more deeply, and create meaningful change.
My approach is attachment-based, down-to-earth, compassionate, and combines both deep exploration and practical tools. I believe every behaviour and belief happens for a reason, and I care about understanding the experiences and patterns underneath them and pairing this insight with practical tools. I also know what it feels like to be a client, so making therapy feel comfortable, approachable, and human matters deeply to me.
As a second-generation Vietnamese-Chinese Canadian, I also understand both personally and clinically that our experiences don’t exist in isolation. Family dynamics, culture, and unspoken expectations can all shape how we see ourselves and what we carry.
I aim for therapy to be a space where all parts of your story can be understood with care and curiosity, without having to overexplain or justify yourself.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Getting Started
I know that reaching out can often feel like the hardest step, so here's a general overview of what you can expect.
-
It’s okay if you’re not sure what to say or where to start! You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable, ask any questions, or simply let me know you’re interested in connecting.
There’s no pressure or commitment in reaching out. I’ll do my best to respond within 48 hours and help you figure out what feels like the right next step.
-
We’ll spend about 20 minutes getting a sense of what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re looking for, and whether we might be a good fit. There’s nothing you need to prepare or know exactly how to explain—I’ll help guide the conversation and answer any questions along the way.
If it doesn’t feel like the right fit, that’s completely okay! I’m happy to suggest other resources or therapists that may be helpful.
-
If you decide to move forward, I’ll send you intake and consent forms to complete before your first session.
In our first session, I’ll guide the conversation with questions as we begin exploring what’s been feeling difficult, the experiences and relationships that may be important to understanding it, and what you’d like to get out of therapy. We don’t need to cover everything at once, and we can take things at a pace that feels manageable.
For couples therapy, the initial process may also include an individual session with each partner.
-
Therapy is a collaborative process that evolves over time. Some sessions may focus on processing longstanding patterns and experiences, while others may be more focused on navigating present challenges or building practical tools.
Together, we'll continue checking in on what's feeling helpful, what's changing, and where you'd like to focus as therapy progresses.
